The Almond-Bancroft Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Crivitz Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Crivitz will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Almond-Bancroft extended their winning streak to nine on Monday. The Eagles' pitcher stepped up to hand Pacelli an 11-0 shutout.

Riya Ceballos was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs, eight RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sophia Chapa, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Emalee Petrick, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Almond-Bancroft was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Crivitz made easy work of Gillett on Monday and carried off a 17-0 win. The Wolverines have beaten the Tigers the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tigers has come to flipping the script.
Like Almond-Bancroft, Crivitz also got a great game from a two-way player: Taryn Tracy. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Tracy was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with one home run and four RBI.
In other batting news, Izzy Wesoloski was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Hattie Frievalt, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, two triples, and one RBI.
Almond-Bancroft's record is now 15-1. As for Crivitz, their record now sits at 18-4.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Almond-Bancroft has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .487. However, it's not like Crivitz struggles in that department as they've averaged .533. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Almond-Bancroft's way against Crivitz in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Almond-Bancroft made off with a 16-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
