Volleyball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss

Rogers lost against Bentonville back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mountaineers came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. The Mountaineers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 25-14.

Avah Brown paced Rogers' offense, picking up eight kills. Brown got some help from Hannah Msall and her 11 assists.

Bentonville can attribute much of their success to Ady Bollinger, who had 16 digs and four assists. Bollinger has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Rogers' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rogers will square off against Northside at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bentonville, they will welcome Siloam Springs at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
