Volleyball Recap: Philipsburg-Osceola Comes Up Short

Philipsburg-Osceola lost against State College back in October of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mountaineers fell 2-0 to the Little Lions.

Adi Jarrett paced Philipsburg-Osceola's offense, picking up four kills. Jarrett got some help from Maddie Anderson and her six assists.

Philipsburg-Osceola's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9-4. As for State College, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Coincidentally, Philipsburg-Osceola and State College will both be playing Bald Eagle Area the next time they take the court. The Little Lions will head out to face the Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Mountaineers will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
