Volleyball Recap: Prout Takes Down Ranked East Greenwich + How To Watch

Prout faced East Greenwich in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Crusaders were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Avengers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Crusaders also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-11, 25-19.

Brooke Rutherford was the offensive standout of the match as she had 14 assists and six aces. That's the most assists she has posted over her last eight matchups. Evelyn McGuire also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Prout moved to 5-9 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for East Greenwich, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
