Volleyball Game Preview: Westminster Wildcats vs. Locust Grove Wildcats + Official Tickets

Westminster will face off against Locust Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Westminster heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Saturday. They came up short against Blessed Trinity, falling 3-0. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

While Westminster was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Blessed Trinity's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-10, 25-13.

Eagle's Landing typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Locust Grove proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0. The game was the first time the Wildcats have beaten the Eagles on their court since September 27, 2022.

Locust Grove easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18.

Westminster's defeat dropped their record down to 34-10. As for Locust Grove, their win bumped their record up to 21-10-1.
