Football Recap: Trinity Collegiate Falls Short of Hilton Head Christian Academy in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Trinity Collegiate can now relate to. They came up short against the Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles on Friday, falling 42-20. The Titans' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Hilton Head Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hudson Baker led the charge by rushing for 115 yards and two TDs on only 13 carries. Those 115 rushing yards gave Baker a new career-high. Jackson Richardson did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 125 receiving yards.

Trinity Collegiate now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Hilton Head Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Trinity Collegiate does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hilton Head Christian Academy, they will take on Wilson Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Barons will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
