Basketball Recap: Southwest Wildcats vs. Hardin-Central Bulldogs
Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 68-33 defeat at the hands of the Hardin-Central Bulldogs. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in February.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Grant Warren, who posted 18 points and seven boards. Those seven rebounds gave Warren a new career-high.
Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Hardin-Central, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southwest will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Polo at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. As for Hardin-Central, they are taking a road trip to take on Carrollton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
