Chadron was the 2-1 winner over Valentine when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals fell 2-0 to Valentine on Thursday. The Cardinals' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Chadron was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19.

Chadron's loss dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Valentine, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Chadron wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Crawford on the 16th. As for Valentine, they will challenge Mullen on Tuesday.
