Soccer Recap: Rockwood Takes a Loss

Rockwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Knoxville A Ambassadors, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Rockwood can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 292nd, while Knoxville A are ranked 80th).

Katelynn Reano, who's played more minutes than anyone else on the Rockwood squad sat out for Tuesday's match. With Reano sidelined, Rory Radtke got her first action of the season.

Rockwood's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Knoxville A, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1-2.

Looking ahead, Rockwood will face off against Cumberland County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Knoxville A does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
