Basketball Recap: Munroe Skates Past Malone with Ease

Munroe had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Malone Tigers 103-66.

Jamir Smith and Donis Mesidor certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Smith posted 13 points, while Mesidor almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine boards. DeJon Lester was another key player, putting up seven points.

Malone is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Munroe will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against FAMU DRS at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Malone, they will head out on the road to square off against Altha at 7:00 p.m. on December 4.
