Doniphan-Trumbull won the last time they faced Gibbon and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cardinals walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Buffaloes.

Doniphan-Trumbull easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-5.

Charlee Richter paced Doniphan-Trumbull's offense, picking up 18 kills. Richter got some help from Laini Rath and her 18 assists. Richter also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kinley Kaczor, racking up two apiece.

Doniphan-Trumbull's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Gibbon, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Doniphan-Trumbull has already played their next contest (against Osceola), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Gibbon, they will venture away from home to take on Arcadia/Loup City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
