Basketball Game Preview: Rigby Trojans vs. Pocatello Thunder

The Rigby Trojans are taking a road trip to square off against the Pocatello Thunder at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rigby has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 199 points over their last three matches.

Last Tuesday, Rigby made easy work of Blackfoot and carried off a 69-47 win.

Meanwhile, Pocatello unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak dating back to last season on Tuesday. They fell just short of Hillcrest by a score of 50-47.

Rigby's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Pocatello, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1.

Rigby was able to grind out a solid win over Pocatello in their previous matchup back in February of 2016, winning 59-52. Will Rigby repeat their success, or does Pocatello have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
