Basketball Recap: York Takes a Loss

The York Cougars lost to the Blythewood Bengals on the road by a 66-47 margin on Tuesday.

Despite the loss, York still got an impressive performance from Peyton Lowery, who shot 64% from the field to rack up 20 points and seven rebounds. Lowery has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Zan Walling was another key player, putting up eight points.

York's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Blythewood, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, York will head out on the road to square off against Midlands STEM Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Blythewood, they will take on Cuthbertson at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
