Basketball Recap: Fleming Island's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Fleming Island extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Carson Crawford. The Fleming Island Golden Eagles blew past the Riverside Generals 74-47 on Thursday thanks in part to Crawford, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds. His afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Alexander Brown, who posted 11 points. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.

Fleming Island's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Riverside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Fleming Island and Creekside will face off at 8:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. One thing working in Fleming Island's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Riverside, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Bolles at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
