Softball Recap: Hobbton Takes a Loss

If Hobbton was riding high fresh off their 21-13 takedown of Princeton last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hobbton Wildcats lost 10-0 to the Rosewood Eagles on Tuesday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meetings.

Hobbton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Rosewood, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Hobbton will welcome Pender at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rosewood, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 19-0 victory against Union on the 19th.
