Soccer Game Preview: Saginaw vs. Montgomery

The Saginaw Rough Riders will be taking part in a tournament against the Montgomery Bears at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Saginaw comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Saginaw fell victim to Palestine and their airtight defense two weeks ago. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Montgomery made sure to put some goals up on the board against Chisholm Trail on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Rangers. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Chisholm Trail with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Megan Barber, Janelle Martinez, Mills Rodrigue, and Valentina Barnett.

Montgomery's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Saginaw, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
