Soccer Recap: Saint James Comes Up Short

Saint James was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Sidwell Friends Quakers. That's two games in a row now that Saint James have lost by exactly two goals.

Saint James' loss dropped their record down to 3-14-1. As for Sidwell Friends, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saint James will welcome St. Andrew's Episcopal at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sidwell Friends, they will be playing at home against BASIS at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
