Basketball Recap: Catholic Takes a Loss

After flying high against Central Arkansas Christian last Monday, Catholic came back down to earth. The Catholic Rockets fell to the ESTEM Mets 62-58. The Rockets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Catholic dropped their record down to 4-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for ESTEM, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Catholic will square off against Vilonia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for ESTEM, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-56 victory against Dardanelle on the 4th.
