Green Run was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 17-16 heartbreaker at the hands of the Norfolk Academy Bulldogs. Even if the Stallions couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Andrea Wilson-Howard was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over 5.2 innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
