Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

Kennedy lost against Pleasant Valley back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cougars fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Among those leading the charge was Addi Allaman, who had six digs and four assists.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Pleasant Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Kennedy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Xavier at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Pleasant Valley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Marion on the 13th.
