Football Game Preview: Crestview Bulldogs vs. Pine Forest Eagles + How To Watch

The Crestview Bulldogs will face off against the Pine Forest Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Crestview is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 32 points on September 12th, they were much more limited against Pace on Friday. They lost 34-8 to the Patriots. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Crestview's defeat came about despite a quality game from Manwell Robinson, who rushed for 114 yards on only eight carries. Robinson really tore up the turf during one magnificent 89-yard run.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Pine Forest's offense. They were beaten by Choctawhatchee 28-0 on September 12th. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Indians are ranked 16th).

Pine Forest didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Najahti Clark and Justin Weatherall. Clark also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 11.

Pine Forest's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Crestview, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-3.

Crestview came up short against Pine Forest in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 13-7. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
