Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Franklin). They breezed by the McDaniel Mountain Lions to the tune of 51-10 on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Quakers as it put an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Franklin's victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-14. As for McDaniel, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Franklin and McDaniel could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. Franklin will square off against Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 231 places (235 vs. 4). Franklin is out to stop a nine-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season. Similarly, McDaniel (ranked 206th) will meet Benson Tech (ranked 15th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
