Football Game Preview: South Putnam vs. Indianapolis Howe

It's playoff time, and South Putnam and Indianapolis Howe are set to clash on Friday at 7:00 PM. The teams both have set a high bar for this game after stand-out offensive performances in their previous contests.

South Putnam made easy work of Indianapolis Shortridge last Friday and carried off a 44-13 win. Among those leading the charge for South Putnam was senior Dalton Scott, who rushed for 230 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Indianapolis Howe put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They took their matchup against Indiana School for the Deaf by a conclusive 37-6 score. The rankings were on Indianapolis Howe's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.

South Putnam were able to grind out a solid victory over Indianapolis Howe the last time the two teams met, winning 19-12. South Putnam's victory shoved Indianapolis Howe out of the playoffs, so expect the team to have a target on their back in this one.
