Volleyball Game Preview: Flanagan-Cornell Falcons vs. LeRoy Panthers

The Flanagan-Cornell Falcons will face off against the LeRoy Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Flanagan-Cornell has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, Flanagan-Cornell didn't have quite enough to beat Lexington and fell 2-1. The Falcons have struggled against the Minutemen recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Flanagan-Cornell sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 22-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, LeRoy earned a 2-0 victory over Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won seven in a row.

LeRoy easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17.

LeRoy's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Flanagan-Cornell, their loss dropped their record down to 16-10.
