Football Recap: Foxborough Skates Past Gloucester with Ease

With a playoff win on the line, Foxborough rose to the challenge on Friday. They breezed past the Gloucester Fishermen to the tune of 28-0. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by exactly 28 points.

Foxborough has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.3 points on average over those games. As for Gloucester, they dropped their record down to 7-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Foxborough and Gloucester will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Warriors see the field they'll take on Mansfield at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th. As for Gloucester, their break will end when they face Danvers at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th.
