Basketball Recap: Hatton/Northwood Comes Up Short

Hatton/Northwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Griggs County Central/Midkota Cougars, falling 57-35. The Thunder were probably out for revenge after losing 62-53 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hatton/Northwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Griggs County Central/Midkota, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hatton/Northwood will host Larimore at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Griggs County Central/Midkota, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg at 7:30 p.m.
