Everything went their way against the Broadway Gobblers on Wednesday as the Liberty Christian Bulldogs made off with a 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their 16th in a row.
Liberty Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-8, 25-17, 25-16.
Liberty Christian was led to victory by Carley Clinton and Tessa Treadwell. Clinton had three digs and 13 assists, while Treadwell had three aces. Clinton has been hot , having posted 12 or more assists the last six times she's played.
Liberty Christian pushed their record up to 22-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Broadway, their loss dropped their record down to 16-9.
Liberty Christian will play host again on Monday to welcome Turner Ashby, where the match is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. Turner Ashby will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Liberty Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
