Volleyball Recap: Grant Community Takes a Loss

Grant Community was the 2-0 winner over Freeport when they last played one another back in September of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pretzels on Friday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Grace Muench had an outrageously good game for Freeport as she had 13 digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Muench a new career-high.

Grant Community's loss dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Freeport, with the win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 9-16.

Grant Community has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Kaneland on the 18th. As for Freeport, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Richmond-Burton on the 17th.
