Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After flying high against Grace Baptist Academy last Saturday, Notre Dame came back down to earth. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish took a 47-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McCallie Blue Tornado on Monday. The contest marked the Fighting Irish's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Notre Dame still got an impressive performance from Gaas Herman, who posted 25 points. Another player making a difference was Dylan Hall, who earned seven points.

Notre Dame's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-4. As for McCallie, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Notre Dame won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Rhea County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McCallie, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Tyner Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
