Basketball Recap: Preble Shawnee Takes a Loss

Preble Shawnee lost against National Trail back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Arrows took a 39-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blazers.

When it comes to explaining why Preble Shawnee lost, don't look at Aubrey Unger. Despite the final result, she posted 15 points along with eight steals and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Josie Mondello-Garrett, who put up five points in addition to ten rebounds and four steals.

Preble Shawnee dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Preble Shawnee and National Trail will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Arrows are set to square off against their familiar foe Tri-Village at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, National Trail will face off against rival Franklin Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
