Softball Recap: Rockmart Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Rockmart couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Cook Hornets by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-7 on Wednesday.

Rockmart's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 23-7. As for Cook, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Rockmart nor Cook have any future games scheduled.
