Basketball Recap: Montgomery Takes a Loss

Montgomery was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They fell 49-39 to the Princeton Tigers. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2022.

Montgomery's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Princeton, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Montgomery wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 42-30 win against North Hunterdon on the 11th. Princeton will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against South Brunswick at 4:00 p.m. on February 19th.
