Basketball Recap: Caldwell County Has No Trouble Against Todd County Central

Caldwell County made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Todd County Central, but still couldn't quite topple them. Everything went the Caldwell County Tigers' way against the Todd County Central Rebels on Tuesday as the Caldwell County Tigers made off with an 83-58 victory. That 25 point margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Despite the loss, Todd County Central still got an impressive performance from Devin Schutt, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 19 points and eight boards. Those eight rebounds gave Schutt a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Holder, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 15 points.

Caldwell County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Todd County Central, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caldwell County and Heritage Christian Academy will round out the year against one another at at 12:30 p.m. on December 27th. As for Todd County Central, they will take on Fort Campbell in a tournament on Friday.
