Baseball Game Preview: Lebanon Cedars vs. Carlisle Bison

Lebanon is on an eight-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Carlisle a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Lebanon Cedars will host the Carlisle Bison at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Tuesday, Lebanon came up short against J.P. McCaskey and fell 8-3.

Diego Serrano was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. What's more, he gave up only three walks, the fewest he's had since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Serrano wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Nyzaiah Rojas, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Carlisle didn't have quite enough to beat Central Dauphin East on Thursday and fell 5-4.

Carlisle also got a good showing from Carter Welker, who pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Carlisle's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Lebanon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-17.
