Softball Recap: Elk River Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Elk River's offense. They fell just short of the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Elks were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Elk River and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Sartell-St. Stephen, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Elk River has already played their next game, a 9-1 defeat against Maple Grove on the 22nd. As for Sartell-St. Stephen, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-3 victory against Rocori on the 22nd.
