Volleyball Recap: Tri-West Hendricks Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Tri-West Hendricks extended their postseason success on Saturday against Northview. They skirted past the Knights 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Bruins, who have now won four contests in a row.

Caroline Ward paced Tri-West Hendricks' offense, picking up 24 kills. Ward got some help from Grace Hargis and her 42 assists. Ward was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Northview lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Karsyn Buck, who had 21 kills and 14 digs. She has been hot, having posted five or more kills the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brinley Deakins, who had 24 digs.

Tri-West Hendricks' victory bumped their record up to 23-12. As for Northview, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 21 matches and leaves them with a 28-6 record.

Tri-West Hendricks didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Jasper on the 1st. Northview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
