Vintage hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Windsor Jaguars a 1-0 shutout. The Crushers wouldn't have won without Liberty Truchard, who scored the game-winner.

Vintage was without their leading scorer, Isa Montoya, in Thursday's matchup. With Montoya sidelined, Vintage had to make some changes to the lineup. Molly Clancy played for 80 minutes having averaged 45.7 this season and Mia Newberry got 80 vs. an average of 49.

Vintage is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-0-4 record this season. As for Windsor, they now have a losing record at 0-1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Vintage and Petaluma will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Vintage's last seven contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Windsor, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on San Marin at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Windsor's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
