Recap: Drew Dragons vs. San Francisco Waldorf Wolverines

The Drew Dragons pushed their score all the way to 65 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of San Francisco Waldorf by a score of 68-65. Drew has struggled against San Francisco Waldorf recently, as their match on Saturday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Drew lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ezra Kolsky, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Kolsky continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Teo Kimball-Directo, who scored 22 points along with two steals.

It was another big night for Miles MacDonald, who scored 46 points for San Francisco Waldorf. As a matter of fact, that's the most points MacDonald has scored all season. Jasper Burgard was another key contributor, scoring ten points.

Drew has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season. As for San Francisco Waldorf, their win bumped their record up to 12-9.

Drew will be playing at home against Gateway at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gateway is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for San Francisco Waldorf, they will head out on the road to take on The Bay School at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
