Volleyball Recap: Shelton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Shelton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Tumwater Thunderbirds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunderbirds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 2nd.

Tumwater found their leader in sophomore Lauren Montoya-Kilmer, who had 12 digs and three aces. Those 12 digs set a new season-high mark for Montoya-Kilmer.

Shelton now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Tumwater, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-2-2.

Shelton has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Aberdeen on the 23rd. As for Tumwater, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Black Hills on the 23rd.
