Volleyball Recap: Creekside Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Creekside Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Stratford Academy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 14-25, 25-16, 25-21.

Defeat or not, Creekside Christian Academy got some senior leadership from Katelynn Rossiter and Morgan Starr. Rossiter had 32 assists and 11 digs, while Starr had 25 digs. Jai Holt was another key player, getting 13 digs.

Stratford Academy found their leader in sophomore Bea Leary, who had 15 digs.

Creekside Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Stratford Academy, they pushed their record up to 11-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Creekside Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against New Creation Christian Academy on the 4th. As for Stratford Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Mount de Sales Academy on the 4th.
