Volleyball Recap: Chesapeake Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Monday. Chesapeake lost 3-0 to Southeastern.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Southeastern scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21, 25-23.

When it comes to explaining why Chesapeake lost, don't look at Bre Scarberry. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and two assists.

Chesapeake's defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-6. As for Southeastern, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-9.

Chesapeake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southeastern, they will venture away from home to face off against Adena at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
