Soccer Recap: West Port Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West Port can now relate to. They fell just short of the University Titans by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The Wolf Pack were probably out for revenge after losing 3-0 to them when the teams met back in January of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.

West Port's loss dropped their record down to 7-10-2. As for University, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6-1.

West Port does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for University, they will face off against Spruce Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. University's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
