Volleyball Game Preview: Southwest Guilford Cowboys vs. Jordan-Matthews Jets

The Southwest Guilford Cowboys will face off against the Jordan-Matthews Jets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Thursday, Southwest Guilford didn't have quite enough to beat R.J. Reynolds and fell 3-2. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southwest Guilford took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-20, 15-25, 25-19, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Jordan-Matthews came up short against Orange on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20, 25-14.

Southwest Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Jordan-Matthews, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-8.
