Basketball Recap: Southridge Comes Up Short

Southridge played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Kennewick Lions and fell 78-42. The contest marked the Suns' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Southridge has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 13 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points over those games. As for Kennewick, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Southridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kennewick, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Walla Walla at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
