Soccer Game Preview: Ludington vs. Cadillac

The Ludington Orioles will face off against the Cadillac Vikings at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Ludington will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Ludington's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Orchard View as they made off with an 8-0 victory. Ludington's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last six matches.

Meanwhile, Cadillac fell victim to Traverse City West and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans. Cadillac haven't had much luck with Traverse City West recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Ludington's win bumped their record up to 9-5-1. As for Cadillac, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Ludington came out on top in a nail-biter against Cadillac in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Orioles repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
