Volleyball Recap: Southwestern Takes a Loss

The Southwestern Wildcats came up short against the MFL MarMac Bulldogs on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Karlee Grant paced Southwestern's offense, picking up four kills. Grant got some help from Alyssa Shelliam and her 12 assists.

Southwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for MFL MarMac, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season.

Southwestern wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Westby on the 13th. As for MFL MarMac, they will challenge Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
