Baseball Recap: Carlson Marauders vs. Anderson Titans

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last six times Carlson and Anderson have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Wednesday. The Marauders fell 6-2 to the Titans. The Marauders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Carlson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joseph Krolak, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Another was Matthew MacBride, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Carlson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Anderson, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Carlson is set to square off against their familiar foe Trenton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Marauders 3.4, the Trojans 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Anderson will take on rival Taylor at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
