Soccer Game Preview: Whitehall-Yearling vs. Buckeye Valley

The Whitehall-Yearling Rams will square off against the Buckeye Valley Barons at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Whitehall-Yearling is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

Whitehall-Yearling took a seven-goal loss the last time they faced off against Columbus Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rams had just enough and edged out the Vikings 2-1 last Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Buckeye Valley's game on Wednesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over Beechcroft. The result was nothing new for Buckeye Valley, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Whitehall-Yearling now has a winning record of 8-7-1. As for Buckeye Valley, their record is now 9-7-2.
