Fort Frye entered their tilt with St. Marys on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Cadets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 21-25, 25-12.

St. Marys lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Alyssa Winland, who had 35 digs and one assist. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Rylee Renner, who had 32 assists and 11 digs.

Fort Frye's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for St. Marys, they dropped their record down to 12-9-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Fort Frye wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Wirt County on the 6th. As for St. Marys, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against South Harrison on the 7th.
