Rittman can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Central Christian Comets. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Comets, too.

Lillian Halliwell made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Allison Hollabaugh, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Alexis LaBo also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Central Christian, their record is now 1-1.

Coming up, Rittman will square off against Smithville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians are facing the Smithies at the right time seeing as the Smithies are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Central Christian, they will challenge Fairless at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
